If you have S01E02 or S2E04 then PLEASE contact the BBC as they are missing from the BBC's archives.
""Missing or incomplete episodes for programme THE ADVENTURE GAME. Series 1 31.05.80 Episode 2 (missing)
Series 2 23.11.81 Episode 4 (missing)"" (edited)
Out of an original total of 23 episodes, 3 episodes are missing and another exists on a format inferior to the original.

Also thank you Ian for returning your Madeline Smith edition to Kal, if I recall, you did that a while back, right?

Has the one with David Yip been recovered?
I remember someone mentioned online years ago it was one that had been wiped.

Im not going to take all credit for it . I actually think it was someone on this forum who kindly copied them for me for nothing more that sending a couple of blank tapes and return postage way back in 1995/1997. Hopefully with the new BBC digital store launching this year the beeb will decide to make these available .

I have four or five things (of watchable, but variable off-air quality) I'm sending back this year to Tim Disney. I have to get a couple safety copied first, but this will include the Liberace Special from 1968 (thank you Chris Dabbs), and a few other bits and pieces. A Boy Called Donovan (again thanks Chris Dabbs) is intact apart from the titles which are missing, but needs to be re-synched.

I guess so, but think it was a Colin Smith who sent them anyway so thank you Colin if your still here . Im sure someone mentioned on another thread has anyone considered contacting the contestants of the missing episodes to see if they have any viewing copies ?.

Sadly dont have the other 2 missing episodes but I did read somewhere that someone has the Michael Rodd episode but does not want to return it . I don't know how this copy compares with the one Kaleidoscope first obtained, but it's always very handy to have additional copies, as proven with some of the TOTP footage : www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bt3GrUEz9_cIt's very disappointing that someone doesn't want to return the Michael Rodd episode, but you've helped fill in the gaps with the other episodes, of which almost all are now back at the BBC thanks to your assistance.

I think Kaleidoscope has the same copy, that one on youtube looks like it is from my copy (dont ask me why it managed to get on youtube ;op).

Puzzling how the BBC managed to wipe any of these, as they are all post-1978 programmes, and how 09/11/81 is still missing, according to Lostshows.
Your copies of both editions are in good condition.
Possibly one or more people who appeared on the show may have their own copies of the missing editions 31/05/80 and 23/11/81?

I'm guessing they were part of the clearout in the early 1990s.
