The Beards version of Silence is from Pop Go The Sixties, recorded in 1969. I recall they also featured in a commercial for BT (I THINK) along with other 60's bands. This would be around 1988/89. Not seen it since then. Will have a scour through youtube when I have time.

The Liberace TV show archive survives a hotchpotch of B/W and colour TR kinescopes as well as PAL/NTSC colour videotapes, but this one is probably 50/50 on whether it survives in a master format.

Hi Thomas, The full episode does exist in the ITV archive . "Music entertainment show with Liberace and his guests Eve Arden, singers Mary Hopkin and Matt Monro, plus ventriloquist's dummy Lord Charles." RR

Liberace's ATV shows exist, although mainly in a telerecorded format in the UK.
The Thames show from 1968 - Liberace in London - does not exist in UK broadcasters' archives, but Kaleidoscope have a copy, albeit a low quality one, basically culled from DVD format (a few generations down), and subsequently cleaned up by my techie mate.
Anyway, over and out for now, lovely to get online for a few minutes....!
