Cannot recall if I did this one before, but it's 02/11/1981 episode of Bullseye, from a early Challenge TV rebroadcast. Apparently the tape of this show has been wiped since, which is quite possible:- www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIzI6EpuEwo""Series 1 •02.11.1981 Episode No. 6 (missing)"" (tvbrain.info)

....and a Crossroads from 01/04/1975 - not an April Fool, this....it's episode 2300. This is from a home recording and is in micturationally-impoverished quality, but, what the hey, it exists. It has a 'slate' in the middle, too, so probably from a tape that was copied from one from ATV back in the day.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElJP2sN8fh8I believe the Crossroads Society do know about this one. Maybe that's something to speak to the Crossroads Society about? I don't know!

All of those Crossroads from 1086 to 2451 are commercially released episodes - the numbering of the episodes on the DVDs is correct, the numbering of the ones on missing episodes are wrong (out by one mostly). I have mentioned this before and the page has never been updated.
Ep 2301 is known about though the 1977 one is new to me - I think both are some of the episodes recorded for fans by ATV who subsequently lost them leaving the widely circulated VHS copies as the only ones known to exist.

Thanks Martin! This has helped tremendously.

IIRC Crossroads had 2 special "catchup" episodes, one when Thames (& maybe some other regions) needed to get up to date with the ATV screenings.
The other was after the ITV strike to remind viewers what was happening before blackout.
Were either of these occidentally counted in the numbering?

Maybe the good people at the Crossroads Motel Group on Facebook could answer your questions on that (or anyone here, perhaps? Martin? )

It's episode 2815. It's missing, and that's been confirmed by the Crossroads Motel, the Facebook arm of the Crossroads Appreciation Society!
