I looked at it yesterday evening and it was fine then but perhaps not too much of a surprise.

I was just going to post the same message. I discovered the loss this morning (Monday). Thank heaven I spent all that time and effort downloading the 90 episodes that I didn't already have. I hope everyone else has managed to get the complete set. I'm busy watching the new episodes and I'm plesantly surprised at the high quality of picture and sound. Whoever posted the episodes must be very high in techical skill. If you're reading this site, well done and many thanks.

I downloaded a couple of Z Cars on Saturday then was going to do likewise yesterday so I'm juggling between glass half empty and half full. Kicking myself for delaying but at the same time thankful I got those when I did!

Yike. I was thinking that The Good Old Days was an episode. It's the uploader.

Another episode from 1963 on YouTube: The Kiter. Among the guests are Nerys Hughes, Hylda Baker and Patrick Newell. If you search YouTube for 'z cars the kiter' two links will come up. Use the second. The top one won't download, at least not on my computer.

A note for anyone who missed getting episodes from the now defunct 'Good old days' site. Three of the episodes that were on that have surfaced on the main YouTube site: Squatters, Occupation and Stray Girl.

Yes he's put a few up there Bernard. There were a couple uploaded a few days back which I downloaded right away having learnt from the Good Old Days experience. Just as well as when I went to look for any more around ten minutes later the said two had been deleted. Incidentally the Good Old Days have returned hinting at the reasons for its hiatus - www.youtube.com/channel/UCEiAM3TequlufOgmuE4OSQgHopefully Z Cars will be added to its daily increasing content soon.

Does anyone know if the episode "A-Z" will be included in any future release?

I can't find this episode on the BBC's official list. Are you sure you've got the right title? On a similar theme, my all time favourite episode was 'Inspection', shown on 2 November 1965. If anyone has that, please please upload it.

The recently and daily expanding uploaded Z Cars episodes disappeared around noon today when the channel was taken down by You Tube.

I've just been studying the list of episodes that we had from the original (and fantastic) 'Good Old Days' site. Almost all the extant episodes from 1973 onwards are included, but there are two prominent episodes that weren't included: 'Legacy', the third part of the trilogy in which Joe Skinner got shot, and 'Inspector Lynch', about the first day after his promotion to Inspector. Both still exist according to the BBC's official list. I'm wondering if there is any reason why they weren't included.
