Can I suggest that Jack should read Richard Molesworth's excellent Wiped! Book, as it will answer a lot of questions that people here have already considered That would be good but trying to get hold of this book is a bit like trying to find a wiped episode! I can't see anywhere selling one - tell a lie I see Amazon selling a second hand one for £403.47!!!! Blimey - I'm not THAT worried about reading the book Cheers MJ

More to the point, you see Amazon NOT selling one for £403.47...
I believe there are still copies to be had - have a root through the DW subforum.

I say wait until the book is republished, as it is technically out-of-date given the 2 recent finds. You never know, there may be more finds by the time it goes back to the printers! I'm assuming given that it's been 2 years since it was released, there is more information to be added into the book as well. I will be getting it when a revised edition makes it onto the shelves.

It does say £403.47 used, but when you click on the product, it goes down to £29.99. It is therefore affordable but I would still say very much on the hefty side.

Jack, as a rule, most of the suggestions that you might come up with have already been thought of before many times, so doing a bit of research might stop you from repeating things. Maybe Father Christmas will bring him one

Maybe Father Christmas will bring him one Yeah, along with Power of the Daleks, Evil of the Daleks.... It could be worse, John. You could have gone to the person's house and found out there was nothing. ;D

These 3 serials most likely went on to Nigeria given the fact that neither NZ nor Nigeria showed The Ice Warriors or Fury from the DeepWe didn't show The Crusade either yet we returned part one.

I often wondered about that - why wasn't the serial bicycled on to the next country? Same thing happened in Cyprus - "The Reign of Terror" didn't air, and the episodes - did they pay the BBC for an airing, or were they in possession to be sent to the next country?

Depends who wanted it next, and who had available copies. If Australia was done with theirs and we were still sorting (or airing) ours then it makes sense to come from elsewhere. Or the BBC would send out fresh copies depending on where they were geographically.
We retained Power of the Daleks for a few years before finally sending it into Singapore. A large number of Who episodes went into storage in Wellington simply because we didn't need to send them on to anyone else. Eventually some left (like Power), others were specifically destroyed (like Evil), the rest were junked eventually.

Hey there, i'm getting the book! Also, if the person who recorded the unknown missing episodes might have a SONY CV-2000, unless that wasn't released in new zealand, and with Singapore, why would Mission to the unknown be shown at Singapore, unless it was a pre-empted episode. Has anyone gone to Singapore, because someone should check out the bonus episode mystery.
