What about that earlier posting here from Ted Rogers who claimed to know someone who had the last two reels of episode seven of A for Andromeda ? Any truth to this.

I think if you look back at the thread that was just a misunderstanding by Ted Rogers of a post above, not a claim that he knows someone. And of course, episode 6 is now back at the beeb (thanks to Ian Levine) and may even get a dvd release if rumours are true.

I watched the 1:02 clip that exists from BBC's 'Points Of View'. Hope it's OK to quote the soundtrack : I just watched my 1.02 clip and it's a different clip to the one you quoted. There's no dialogue at all. A man wearing a hat and a woman watch as a helicopter lands and a white car drives past them and past the helicopter.

Regardless of the lack of F&VTL logo, this *is* from a BBC VHS copy. The last two reels of episode 7 were found in the archive in the 90s when an old range of cans was being incorporated into the main library range.

They have remade this like they did with Quatermass last year. Looking forward to seeing this on BBC4 very soon with the lovely Jane Asher.
