There will be constant improvements in the range; personally I would like to see everything released on Blu-Ray. Some think this is nuts, because BD is high definition and classic DW is not. But you're forgetting of course that due to higher capacities, BD can support much higher bit-rates meaning that classic DW could be put on the discs in SD, but in broadcast quality. This means that fans could have copies identical in quality to the original broadcast tapes. That would be the ultimate release for me. Regards, Paul I agree, as a space saving and cost measure Blu-ray would be fantastic.

Personally I was very glad to get rid of VHS tapes - I gained yards and yards of shelf space, better pictures and some good extras It would be good to, say, have a whole season on a single disk but I'm not sure that Blu-ray would give that. What Paul's saying is that Blu-ray would give even better picture quality which, as screens get larger, could well be worthwhile.

I was talking from my own point of view being space and cost saving, which is another consideration. Paul's original point stands too.
