With regards to the technical hitch mentioned . It was not on air , I think what is meant is... that the BBC recorded the Rediffusion coverage but accidently switched in their own sound commentary over the first few minutes of their 'pirate' copy.
Forgot about Brian Connell he did some superb interview shows in his later years.
