Dear All and John Green The bfi have confirmed they do hold Here's A Funny Thing 1982-11-20, on the following 3 formats...VHS 55.19 minutes, 1-inch C-Format and Digital Betacam 55.19 minutes. Here are another 4 that the bfi have confirmed they do hold.. Duel Of Honour 1968-09-11 from the series Frontier Thames Television ... 16 mm..Incomplete, Reel 2 only of sound and picture 900 feet. Quite a few familiar names in this one..Patrick O'Connell, James Maxwell, Alex Scott, Gary Bond, Paul Eddington, Ann Bell. 1. Hopcraft into Europe ATV from Sunday Night Theatre 1973-09-23. Great cast..Clive Revill, Geraldine McEwan, Arthur Lowe, Angela Scoular, Diana Quick, Ian Charleson. held on Video and in addition, whilst confirming, they also located a 2" Master, which bfi will add to Record entry.
2. Moira Shearer BBC from Picture Parade 1960-04-12. Robert Robinson interviews Moira Shearer. 35 mm B/W Positive Combined 515 Feet and 35 mm Telercording Negative Acetate Combined 515 Feet.
3. Evolution BBC 1977-01-17 from Merry-Go-Round Cast: Wendy Padbury, Max Mason VHS 4. Topical Programme BBC 1979-10-15 from Merry-Go-Round VHS
I've actually done a cut-and-paste! All of the above are thanks to the amazing Simon Moreby,and are confirmed by the BFI. Nice.

The Hopcraft means that of the 93 episodes from that run of Sunday Night Theatre,there are now only 3 missing,while 20 are held in inferior formats.The rest survive.

'Simon located 21 ME's of Crossroads, at the bfi, so he made a submission to Lostshows and the bfi have confirmed that they do hold all these 21 ME's on 2" Quadruplex colour videotape.. www.lostshows.com/default.aspx?search=crossroadsthe above link says..Out of an original total of 4521 episodes, 2851 episodes are Missing and 11 others exist on formats inferior to the original...less the following 21 ME's confirmed as held today.. 1. 7/7/72 2. 13/4/73 3. 24/4/73 4. 2/5/73 5. 5/6/73 6. 8/6/73 7. 5/7/73 8. 12/7/73 9. 8/8/73 10. 22/8/73 11. 24/8/73 12. 6/11/73 13. 15/11/73 14. 21/8/74 15. 20/3/75 16. 21/3/75 17. 29/4/76 18. 10/2/77 19. 22/12/77 20. 20/8/80 21. 22/1/81
