I vaguely remember watching it myself. It was a magazine format programme and could feature musical items. I think the BFI might have one edition (?) if anything exists of it.

Wasnt Sarah the ''John Noakes to Cliff's 'Christopher Trace',type thing? in that she went out and did all the cold, grubby stuff and he was the sage in the studio?

I think I missed something...do you mean the clip is from Come Here Often and not Juke Box Jury? Or.... do you mean a clip of Juke Box Jury (what is seen on the TV monitor?) was including during an episode of Come Here Often? www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZj0xsz4_9s

Yes, I think the clip is from Come Here Often (not Juke Box Jury, which was a panel game).

i have a CD-ROM of old tv timeses from 1966-68 & i see publicity shots of sarah ward & cliff morgan together from that show & sarah looks cool as a brunette! i was born in 1974 & i am too young to remember the show & never saw it until i saw the clip the now on youtube of mike quinn & tiles. does any one know what sarah ward is doing these days? i think the last time i heard of her was when she had her own show on BBC radio 5 20 or so years ago.

Not sure exactly when it ended but probably it ran till near the end of Rediffusion's loss of franchise (July 1968). I'll have to dip into some old TV Times and see. I don't know if the guests were listed though. Possibly the only place to check Rediffusion programme details (the equivalent content to BBC PasBs) might be the BFI, who I believe hold some of this information.

Much appreciated Laurence! Is there a recommended contact at BFI? Perhaps Steve Bryant? I see a number of TV curators listed on the BFI homepage. FWIW the online database has scant info on Come Here Often..

I know the BFI have some Rediffusion paperwork but doubt it's been put online / digitised. You'd probably have to visit the BFI library to access it. Does anyone know if it's still in Stephen Street? A few years since I went there myself!

'Come here often' went right on up untill a couple of weeks before Magpie I think.
In fact Mick Robertson was a stand in presenter for when Cliff was busy

You beat me to it, Peter! I've just looked at the TV Times editions for that period and the last programme was on 23rd July 1968 (the penultimate week before Rediffusion ceased broadcasting), where the blurb says: "Back from their adventures in Singapore come Sarah Ward and Mick Robertson. There are a few last-minute surprises on our 80th - and last - programme". Looking at some of the listings on other weeks, there is no mention of specific guests (the magazines were probably printed in advance of them being finalised) and just give a generic blurb about the programme featuring everything from film to football and that anything can happen etc. etc. So back to what was said earlier then, that the only place to find programme content details (if they do still exist) would be at the BFI. Sorry I can't be of more help. Probably highly unlikely that Pink Floyd did actually appear in any unique musical (or other) performance though. There are lots of rumours about appearances on obscure shows but most seem to be a case of chinese whispers. 80 editions, eh? Just about all of them gone! Sheesh!!!! Edit: the Lost Shows database says all editions are missing so there isn't anything known about other than the Youtube clip. When I said I thought that the BFI had an edition, I reckon I was thinking of Hullaballoo (another Rediffusion kid's show which ran around the same time), of which there is one surviving programme. www.lostshows.com/default.aspx?programme=1343c711-5aab-4f17-b860-dd966a8037c6
