As part of the daytime schools programmes on the CBBC Channel this autumn term, they're planning to re-screen a tonne of old "Look and Read" drama serials from the past 30 years: The Boy From Space, Dark Towers, The King's Dragon and so on, which is all very well.
They're also ("provisionally") scheduled to broadcast all 10 episodes of "Joe and the Sheep Rustlers" from 1973. The things is, I understood that Kal reports 3 episodes of this serial are missing.
Does anybody know if the missing episodes have turned up recently, or is it simply a cataloguing/scheduling error, and CBBC are set for a bit of a panic once they try to check the tapes?
The repeat's scheduled to start on 8th September, so they haven't got long to change things if they are still missing. I think the best outcome (apart from the missing episodes having been found, of course!) would be if they started broadcasting it, before suddenly finding out that some are missing halfway through. That way we'd all get to tape those first few rare eps!

It's possible the Kal Guide is in error. Corresponding with their researchers, they admit their first guides had errors, based on what they were told by various sources/archives. The updated versions, due out in over the next year or so, will hopefully amend that.
