I thought that came from a VHS. When I worked in the VT Library at Television Centre, I searched for it on the computer system and couldn't find anything.

Here's footage of The Jam from Newcastle City Hall, 1980 which has had its audio redubbed. It made me think of other TV programmes which were broadcast in the pre-stereo days that could have its audio redubbed with the radio broadcast.
Sight and Sound in Concert is an obvious start but I can only find a Gentle Giant DVD that has been officially released synching the radio broadcast with the TV concert. I know Rock Goes To College was TV only but some concerts were broadcast on American radio.
The Joe Jackson CD Live at the BBC has audio from both Sight and Sound and RGTC.
It'll be nice if BBC4 could rebroadcast the concerts with the radio broadcast audio.

Some of the RGTC gigs were certainly broadcast in STEREO on the radio, but abroard only. I worked at the BBC Transcription Service and for selected gigs we'd send down our mobile truck and record the gigs on 24 track audio tape, mix them later and issue them on discs for radio stations abroard to buy.

I remember The Police at Hatfield Poly (University of Herts) being bootlegged from a US radio broadcast. It's interesting to know that some gigs were recorded on 24 tracks, with today's technology, some of these concerts could air with a fresh breath of life.
