Nationwide-what exists

Hi.
Found my way here trying to find out if the VHS I have of the last nationwide episode was of use. I guess not... I think it does have the full BBC North West local segment though. I definitely remember a comment within the program "I bet there are a few video recorders going tonight".

Always worth keeping these things. You never know how rare they are. Even if the show survives (not sure about it) then home recordings often have continuity on the recordings as well, which won't have been officially kept.

Well, the archived version would have the South East/London regional opt-out, so your recording is still of interest, Robert - I don't know what the archive status of BBC North West's regional news output is, but I believe generally there's not a lot of the studio stuff out there.

In other words, hang on to it!!

To clarify, the above refers to regional news generally, not specifically BBC North West!
