Many of those will probably be the U.S. versions though (which is still a very good result).

These clips that have been surfacing are amazing! And yes, they are from the ITC New York archives. I have talked to many people that suggest the entire series in color exists in New York, stored there after the original broadcast from ABC television center in New York.

In this month's record collector there's an interview with soul singer Maxine Brown in which she is asked 'You first visited the uk in 1967.Do you have specific memories of that' and she replies 'Oh yes!I was invited to go on the Tom Jones Show .Tom came on wearing an apron and oven mitts and announced "Dear dinner is served" i wonder if this show is still around.

Every time I see this topic revived I always think about the Arthur Brown appearance and when and if it will ever be seen. While searching I found this on youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TuAFkVD97A It says 1968 but I would think that was just the uploader mistaking the release of the track as the year it was performed on the show. Does anyone know if this recording has been known to collectors? Is this from the 16/3/1969 episode?

For the ATV/ITC 'This is Tom Jones' 1969-1971 series, the whole thing here is to bear in mind that the show was effectively filmed twice (once in monochrome and once in colour), and the missing editions are pretty much mainly the black and white ones. Some of these may reside in various archives in the US, but they do not exist in the UK.
This explains the confusing state of things regarding this show.
Please note black and white and colour shooting were done on different days. Some scholars have previously stated that two different camera line-ups were used; this is not the case. Two different shoots were done.

Two different shoots were done. Whatever LOL! but it was filmed in PAL colour and NTSC color there was no reason to shoot it in 405 line B/W. The B/W editions (ie the Who)are telerecordings for personal copies or small stations who could not afford Videotape machines. This is the UK version of Steve Wonder www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnReoSWudqUthis is the NTSC version www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2yW4Nh4Ijc
