Thanks David; actually I didn't know THE EXORCISM existed with the original series title.

Yes Laurence; did mean the repeat but also at the NFA in 90s they showed it running straight in fading from black to the individual play title.

That was how I recalled the reshowing c. Xmas 74. I assumed the front title had physically been cut off as happened for example with OOTU 'Andover and the Android' and possibly 'Boys and Girls come out to play' repeats.

Actually John I'm almost 100% certain 'The Exorcism' has the complete series title, but I can't locate my copy of it as yet. As soon as I can I'll let you know for definate.
