Series with remake potential

I for one would like to see ace of wands re done.I would be very interested to see how they would go about redefining it for todays audiance.Its heart breaking for me that only one season still exists so a remake for me would be great to see.
Also i have just finished watching the thriller series.
And i thought to myself how odd it is that there is'nt an anthology horror/thriller series out now.
After all we have shows like supernatural and spooks etc that seem to be doing well.Why not a horror anthology series.

I could imagine Ace of Wands being revisited today but it would very probably end up something like the nineties revival of Tomorrow People, a bit glossy with possibly an american lead actor It could be done well but we just know that it wouldn't be unfortunately!

Horror or any anthologies stand out as being missing from tv these days. We have had a few things in the fantasy vein like Sea of Souls which don't seem to like to dabble too deeply in the horror side of things. So they tend to be a bit bland. I'm sure they could do better if they believed in the genre.
