ALL of the sooty episodes were made in colour, not by the bbc but an outside company,check out the start of any sooty show and see sooty hammering his was through the wall and waving, check out the black and white and colour versions THEY ARE THE SAME the sooty shows five of them were sold by another comany, these were the same except they were edited down about five mins, so all sooty films were not made at the bbc ive been told this is fact, so bruce you have an origianal sooty show and was not made for childrens shows unless its one of the five which includes sootys spaceship as seen here
