This is very strange.
I have bought a VHS of Mr Piper, in a no frills, heavily "out of copyright" format.
Can't find it, was it all some strange dream?

We had a discussion about this a few years ago IIRC. It was also on in Granada-land in the early-mid sixties. I remember the song clearly (I think I wrote it in full on the earlier thread). Also Rupert the Rat and Kookie the Kitten who appeared in one of its regular inserts, Down on Animal Farm.
I can't believe it was so long ago - or perhaps that I was ever that young !
