Can anyone shed any light on this, please? :-)
The UK version of 'Fraggle Rock' was a co-production between Henson and the now-defunct TVS back in the 80s, and aired up to June 1990. So far as I've been able to discover, it's never had any repeat showings.
Reportedly only 12 of the 96 shows can now be located by Henson, which seems a bit shocking! Does anyone know what might have happened to TVS' archive after they went off the air at the end of '92? Are copies of any of the other shows known to survive anywhere?
The 12 surviving episodes have been released on DVD a couple of times over the last few years, and a further 12 were actually released on VHS in the late 80s. Other than that, I've tracked down off-airs of a couple more shows but that seems to be about it :-(

Who says it does not exist?
All present and correct IIRC . The TVS archive I believe was bought by Disney or a Disney sub company ? and they are... A, either not very bothered about it
or B. the programmes are trapped in rights hell

These people always expect Mohammed to go to the mountains. Why dont they spend some money on a researcher for a change, and have a bit of respect for their investment.

How many episodes did Fulton MacKay actually star in - there's very little info on the net. Strange that Fraggle Rock always seemed to be on in the late 80s (with the animated one shown on Saturday mornings on BBC? or was that just Muppet Babies again and again?) and although I remember later ones with John Gordon Sinclair, I have no memory at all of Simon O'Brien's stint.
All the DVD released ones are MacKay episodes aren't they?

Exactly half - everything from '84 to '87.
The show aired on CITV from 1984-1990; a handful of shows were repeated over Christmas '85 and a few more in late '88. The animated version was also on ITV, starting in 1990. Muppet Babies was indeed BBC - it used to be on Sunday mornings.
The 12 shows on DVD are all MacKay eps, yes. I've got an off-air of JGS's first episode but nothing from O'Brien.

I think people will find paley center will be a chore to get anything out of.
The gossip in the past was that they were very good at taking, however they wanted copywrite clearance and a high price to copy to get things out. Even when its a museum.. Hopefully Im wrong and they're much more friendly.
Ive never recommended giving anything to them and prefer other more friendly archives.

I got the impression from the 'Son of Fred',Dennis Potter, etc. stuff they've got that they're quite assiduous about gathering material.Though.... Look at their listings! Generally, there seems no in for mation on: Format: 16mm? Kinewhatsit? Home VHS? Doesn't say. Color/B&w? Well, one of the two,but you'll have to guess. Cast list? Can do: William Hartnell.....Cast. Jackie Lane..........Cast. etc.
It can get very frustrating (though rewarding if one finds something by chance).
Why is 'Son of Fred',once @ 18.45,once @ 17.51?
Shouldn't they give a note of thanks to whoever supplied the 26 mins. of clips for the show? Or were they the original source for all this material, with Peter Sellers estate donating his?
I can,and should, look some of it up online, but a visit would be nice.
I must send them emails over 'A Pair Od (sic) Eyes...Seriously,Marty Feldman',unless anyone her places it? And what is 'A Cast of Ravens' with Nigel Terry? I's 1974,so probably not lost.I bet it's obvious, but help would be appreciated.

George, please follow up on this!
Email them if you can, and ask them 'have you got this, and what format is it on'.
Most archives are good enough to reply. I can only think of one I've ever contacted that didn't.
