Lance - I think they're taking the P, mate. Don't take them so literally...
Everyone knows that the greatest of all Troughton stories is "The Space Pirates"
;D

Sir, I assure you there is no "P" taking happening on my part: I do genuinely believe that The Underwater Menace is the best Troughton (with Power coming a close second).

Underwater Menace is good, but I would have to say that either "Fury From The Deep" or "The Web of Fear" would be up there for me as some of the greatest missing Troughton stories. Lance. And just how would you know this, Boise Boy? Seriously, just 'cause one ep is good doesn't mean the whole story is. Several stories start out pretty good (or pretty bad), but go up and down in quality as the story progresses.

Perhaps we should hold a "1960s Stinker Cup" tournament in the Dr Who world...
Watch these boards for more on this later (when I've organised who's playing who in the opening heats)... ;D

on a similar line, are there any blooper reels from 60's Whos, rumours or otherwise There is only one known to exist. In The Abominable Snowmen 2, Victoria falls down the hill when running from the Yeti. It exists as part of the location footage. In fact, it would have been a continuation of a shot that exists in the 2nd episode. But yes, as stated above, several episodes could qualify as blooper reels...

It's hardly worth watching though, and not even remotely funny - Watling runs off screen, then there's a slight "oops" and that's it. Probably enough to send the carrier bag bearing bluestripes of this world into hysterics though...

Personally I'd would love to have the footage where (alledegly) a very nearsighted Katy Manning smashes into a tree.
