Now I just have to put up with all of these hoaxes about me rather than missing episode hoarders.

Thats what I am thinking, if someone in the last month or so has already written to the archives in Singapore etc, would it not be better to check with Bill on what (if any) response had been received before wasting effort re-asking the same questions again ? And especially considering when I was in contact with the Singapore broadcasters many many many years ago, they did state they get letters from all over the world on a regular basis asking about missing episodes. It really amazes me that some fans seem to come up with the idea "Hey! I'll write to Singapore and ask them" without actually considering that someone has thought of doing that already!!! Sigh.... Jon, I am in contact with an archive in Singapore besides Media-corp which looks promising, Lance. Hi Lance May I ask why you think this archive looks promising, have they indicated anything to you?

So Lance, what you are saying is that you have sent them an email and they have responsed in the positive that they may have got what you are looking for ?

I'm afraid that doesn't answer Darren's question. Remember another poster on here who made similar claims? And then "backed" his claims up with vague references and dubious, convoluted "proof"...
Something to do with "The Space Pirates" *definately* existing in Australia - if I remember rightly.
Don't follow the same path - you'll only damage your credibility...

Hello to all,
I am not currently aware of missing material in existence to my knowledge. The organization that I contact deals with archiving cinema, and all sorts of film brought in by the locals. Since missing episodes were aired in Singapore, and thier fate is unredorded, then it is possible ( I must admit that it is a very slim chance at best) that some of this material found its way to the populace and had been returned. I am saying now that this returning of film policy that is in effect is what looks promising, I am not aware that the film department archive has any such material. However I am currently in contact with an official, and am attempting to see what thier film archive has to offer. If I don't find anything then I accept that, and will move on. I hope that I do find some material though, that would be really cool. Well have to go, talk to ya later.

What was the outcome of that great "Lets write to every TV company in the World and see if they have any Doctor Who ?" escapade ?? Did they not receive any response from Singapore ? I have to admit it was me that wrote to Singapore as part of Bill's initiative. Er... no reply as yet. And yes, it's already been pointed out that the chances of getting one are minimal!!

Its good to see some-one on the upbeat and not so negative all the time. It's not so much that people here are negative, but realistic. I'm sure everyone here would be glad to see missing episodes recovered, they just don't expect them to be recovered from landil sites or letter-writing fans.

Hello Again,
Someone on the beer-drinkers site is making postings using my name. I have not posted on that site before, it was not me. Someone posted a reply to the " Interesting Dream" thread I started long ago, saying that I went into a cave and found all 4 episodes of the Smugglers. I most certainly had no such dream, and I do not like the fact that someone is paraphrasing my posts, under false pretenses. If it is just another joke most likely. Have to go to work, see you guys later.
Lance.

Oh, now I have missing episodes along with Jeff Stone. " I think Lance M & Jeff Stone are in league together and are probably sat on at least half a dozen missing episodes. Well that's the whisper on the streets in the urban jungle at the moment folks. All a bit 'nudge, nudge, wink, wink' if you catch my drift what?!" Is what the poster said. I can guarantee all here that I am not in possession of any missing material, if I did I would be the firse to send a e-mail to the RT Team and mail the episodes back to the BBC Archives, so all fans of vintage who could enjoy watching thier favorite doctors battle evil in all of its vintage forms. And I wonder which urban jungle these rumors are flying around? I will deffinitely keep an eye and see what becomeof this chap who states that I have missing material. If anyone has any new info, leave a response. Thanks, Lance. Well, I'm Jeff Stone, and I don't know what the hell you're all talking about. I wouldn't know LanceM if I fell over him, and I certainly haven't got any missing episodes. Who the hell is this thingy?!!! Jeff Stone
