contact television stations, research old film vaults for mislabled material, frequent film collector fairs, search old newspapers, old broadcasting reccords. Realized a find and alerted the proper authorities, like Niel Lambess and the find of the Lion in 1999.

I seem to recall an instance where someone listed episodes of Marco Polo in a prominent UK newspaper. What ever became of that ? Or was it just another hoaxer out to annoy who fans ?

Lance, no one was able to find any evidence of the original advert, so nothing ever came of it. It was probably a hoax.
