Yeah, I can relate to that - a lot of people seem to mistake one country for another. I used to live in Sweden and so many people have asked me if I enjoyed it there as Switzerland sounds like a fascinating place to visit... Back to Zambia vs. Zimbabwe... The confusion was exacerbated, I think, when discussing each country's path to independence. I simply replied to the question of when Zimbabwe's time happened. (I am too young to be able to speak with any authority on current affairs in the 1960s but do remember the 1970s reasonably well...) Anyway - thanks to all concerned for steering this discussion back on course.

I get it the other way round, I am half Swiss and on learning this people are guarenteed to ask me if I can speak Swedish ;D

Hmmm... Or maybe it's a case of people failing to listen?

back to the root of this thread. When was the last time the Zambia archives were searched ? They could still have some missing episodes, look at the recovery of "Tomb of the Cybermen" from Hong Kong. They claimed that after the discovery of episode 1 of "The Web of Fear" that they did not have any more who, then four cybermen episodes appear. In that light, could there be a chance that there are missing episodes in the Zambian archives ? And I was also wondering if Mr. Bignell or Steve Roberts of the RT Team could contact the Zambia Broadcasting corp and see if there is indeed anything happening in response to my origional e-mail ? Just to say if someone in authority with the BBC or RT Team could possibly contact them sometime soon, then that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Lance.

(Um, what makes you think no one hasn't thought of doing that already?) Of note, a lot of Zambia's TV material was sent from New Zealand. Jon Preddle

Hmmm... Or maybe it's a case of people failing to listen? Exactly - Austria and Australia also get confused really remarkably often.

So was it a a case of searching the archive listings rather than the archive? can you speak swedish?
