I'm certain I've seen the answer to this before but I can't find it anywhere on Google, so I'll ask here.
In David Howe's 'Timeframe' there is an image of William Hartnell delivering the Merry Christmas to everyone at home line - I thought there were no telesnaps of that episode? Is this some other sort of primitive vidcap?

It's one of 20 off-screen photographs taken during the transmission of the episode by Robert Jewell, as he wanted a record of him actually appearing in the flesh in Doctor Who, rather than encased in a monster costume!

I remember them being printed in a a magazine when they were uncovered. Was it DWM or DWB? Do you recall which Richard?

Selections of the photos were published twice in DWB (making up the full 20 images), once in Issue #50 (17 photos) and later in the DWB Compendium (16 photos).
