when the BW episodes were shown on comercal tv in the 60s and 70s what idents were used during the comercial breaks, did the bbc supply one or did each company use their own?

That would have been left to the foreign broadcasters - I don't think there's any evidence the BBC supplied any captions.

:)right, I thought that was probably the case, do you happen to know if there were any specials made by the tv companies or do you think they would have used a generic?
