So, What exactly is Ian Levine going to do to locate further vintage who material ? Lance. Who is Ian Levine? Didn't he play Benton and various monsters in the 60s and 70s? Ian Levine is a very resourceful fan who has been involved with episode recovery. Sgt. Benton was played by John Levene |

Is it possible that the film was mis-shelved in Villers House somewhere? Highly unlikely. As has been said before, it's not uncommon for old film cans to be reused. And if it was misfiled, it would have turned up again when BBC Enterprises moved out of Villiers House, which they did many years ago. Richard Actually I think Enterprises either had moved out by then, or it was when they were moving out that these cans were found. I'm pretty sure by then all their library material was stored elsewhere - hence the cans being discovered in a cupboard! |
