What was the TVM up against? I was watching the TVM at the time! ;D A series called 'Bramwell' I think.

The rumours about Christopher Eccelston leaving are fan paranoia. He hasn't said he's doing a second series and there has been no confirmation of a second series. He may also want to try to keep secret any potential season cliff-hanger by being secretive about his intensions.
Just wait and see. I doubt he'd bail on the series at such an important time.

He's always been rather jumpy about type casting but this has to be some sort of speed record, bet he still gets typecast though, life's like that. Bill Nighy's still in with a chance then.

Why did they bother to cast christopher eccleston in the first place. He has made this series a waste of time even before it has really began. He could after all be known as the lost doctor the one that got away.

He could be in danger of being typecast as an actor who won't do series?
