Here's one with a twist... Just for fun...
If you had to choose one - which episode would you be quite happy if it STAYED lost...?
PS - "The Feast of Steven" doesn't count - chances are that one is already toast.

A silly question really as I'm sure virtually everyone here would gladly see every episode returned. However, if you mean which episode would we prefer to be recovered last (i.e. has less preference over all others), I'd say Four Hundred Dawns simply because so much material exists from it anyway.

I would gladly trade the whole of Tom Baker's era for The Space Pirates!!

Personally the Hartnell historicals generally bore me rigid the most, so I'd say Crusades episodes 2 & 4, but I have no particular burning desire to see The Myth Makers, The Massacre or the rest of The Reign of Terror.
And having turned off the CD of The Celestial Toymaker for being both weird and dull, I'm in no hurry to see any more of that either.

Hehehehe... ;D This is turning into fun.
Yep, I've given this one a bit of thought too. BURN THE TOYMAKER!
Who would ditch "The Space Pirates"?! Shock! Horror!

As an after-thought... What would you trade? Burn already extant episodes in order to recover which...? I say burn "The Dominators" and "The Krotons" to complete "The Faceless Ones" and "The Space Pirates"! What are YOUR thoughts...?

I'd swap 'The Leisure Hive' for just about anything you care to mention... Stuart

Hmmm... How about we burn all of Season 17 for a complete Season 4?

In all honesty, if I could, I wouldn't trade anything - it would be selfish to do so. As proven by this thread (HOW CAN YOU NOW WANT MY FAVOURITE STORY - THE CRUSADE - TO BE RECOVERED?!), one man's least favourite story is another man's favourite and whilst I'd rather sit through The Space Pirates or The Savages over any Tom Baker story, there are plenty of people who wouldn't

If I HAD to trade one story for another, I'd trade Robot (worst story ever and even introduces the worst Doctor ever) for Mission to the Unknown, The Feast of Steven, The Tenth Planet: Episode Four and The Power of the Daleks: Episodes One.

Well - the thought was "dump an existing SIXTIES episode"...
But, hey, if we're trashing colour episodes as well - BURN "Terminus"! BURN "Warriors of the Deep"! BURN "The Twin Dilemma"! BURN "Time and the Rani"!
and, most importantly; BURN "Timelash"!
There, that gives us space for 20 class episodes. Which ones...
;D ;D ;D

Actually I'd happily lose every episode whose copyright date began with MCMLXXX...

To quote the great thespian and Broadway director Charles Nelson Reilly "The correct answer, Gene..."
The Doctor Who movie from 1999.

Well... there's no answer to that, is there? ;D
But seriously... It may be art - but is it "Dr Who"?
