People- I was recently motivated to explore EXACTLY what I had from this great series, and now have an Excel Spreadsheet with this info. in.
I am looking to gradually restore/remaster the series to the best possible versions of material not held by the BBC.
Consequently, if you recorded ISIRTA off-air in the 1960s, I'd love to hear from you. I am particularly looking for 1965-1967 programmes, as many of those I do have are shortened T/S versions made for overseas.
Thanks in advance, Richard.

Hi Richard.
I am going through the collection of a comedy enthusiast who did indeed record many of these. Please let me know the archive status.
Regards,
Paul

Richard and Paul, I can't believe neither of you have e-mailed in regard ISIRTA. Please remember that I used to be an engineer at the BBC..... (hint)

i was pleased to see that only 1 episode of isirta is still missing. a few years ago i was looking for the 5 episodes that were then known to be lost: 1/2, 1/3, 2/4, 2/5, 3/5. i found 2/4 in the possession of a private collector on reel to reel tape. then at a car boot sale came across another reel to reel marked isirta. took a chance, paid 50p, and was overjoyed to find on playing the tape that it had 1/2 and 1/3 on it with a different intro from the subsequent series. i took the 3 shows to bbc sound archives as i had done in the past when i found lost shows and they copied them and returned the original tapes to me with audio copies for myself . i would be interested to know which of 2/5 or 3/5 has been recovered and if anyone could supply a copy. happy to swap for any of the shows i have found

Hi Folks A BIG apology to those who have missed my presence on the boards. I can be contacted direct at richtharr@freenet.co.uk if anyone has any points to make. I have the Excel spreadsheet which I'm happy to send to people with details of what I have. The two I am particularly after are:-
- 'Little Martin Copperwick' 1/11/65 and - 'Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jibe' 11/4/66
Thanks, Richard. - Paul please contact me, I'd love to hear from you.

I should just point out that all episodes of ISIRTA exist - I have them all on my PC in varying quality, including a really bad but still audible copy of the ultra-rare S02E05 'Dr Heckle & Mr Jibe'.
Email me at missingepisodes@gmail.com if you want a copy (and let me know if you can handle a 14mb file in your inbox!). I should point out I only have 2 episodes in my gmail account, and don't have the ability to upload any more (the other escapes me, but it's a full version, not a TS copy).
