Gentlemen, whilst on the subject of the goons...spiky....have any of his "Milligan papers survived?, i know they were broadcast a few years ago, but heard nothing since....anyone know?

Peter Sellers HAD a very large film/tape/Accetete collection before he died, but in the 2 months before ,he burnt 90% of it in switzland .
Pete was dead long before the milligan papers went out.. and he had a fued with milligan years before his death (half the reason he got rid of all the tapes.etc)

a Very big disaster,,
from what ive been told-read spike asked peter about making him copies of some private films they had made in the early to mid 50's (spike clamied they were the funniest stuff they'd ever done) peter said no, Spike kept trying over a couple of years to get these films-Tapes from peter but he'd always decline.. after perers death spike spoke to sellers window who told him peter had burnt the lot!! later sources said that Lynn had infact found a load more and got rid of it herself,,
You see peter knew he was dying he kept having omens and the like and wanting to rid the world of anything that reminded him of the past got rid of most of it
Pete was a keen photogropher there must have been 10's of thosands of those. and not to mention his obsession (like me) with all kinds of recording devices, at one time the sellers archive was almost complete..
Fred Shows most of the goon shows, Rays a laugh whole goon shows he'd filmed..
The bulk of the material in "THe Unknown Sellers" had escaped his trashing

This was broadcast on BBC7, there were quite a few episodes as I remember hearing them all.
