Yeah, that`s the one Neil. Cheers, i`m not sure what was wrong at my end but it just wouldn`t happen. I`ve never had a problem with pictures on Poptastic.

An awful record especially from Albert Hammond who was capable of great records such as It Never Rains in Southern California, Freedom Come, Freedom Go, The Air That I Breathe, I'm a Train & The Free Electric Band. We all have an 'off' day I suppose, Ever heard "Harry Braff" by the Bee Gees? From 1968 in between classics such as Massachusetts and I've Gotta Get a Message to You. Incidentally it's Sir Albert Hammond now (OBE). ;D

Wow, I'd never connected Albert Hammond with 'Steve & Albert'. That has stirred something in my memory about the 'Bouncing Ball' clip being featured in a TOTP retrospective edition as the worst ever performance. But was it... I can reveal that John & Alan were mortified when the 'Baskin & Copperfield' clip was shown on TOTP 2. They performed live with the TOTP orchestra and Alan Williams demanded that "his voice be turned up so his Mum could hear him". Meanwhile John Richardson held his microphone at least a foot away at times. Consequently the record disappeared. They'd been assured that it had been wiped and would have preferred it to have stayed lost Back to Albert Hammond: He was on a nostalgia tv show with the Rubes' in Germany about 3 years back and played a solo acoustic medley of some of his other hits. What a talented songwriter ! I had a chat with him during rehearsals and said "you might have something with that 'California' song". He took it in good spirits.
