Hi Kev, The song is called (Can You Help Me) but I don't know the TV show it comes from ? I was trying to work out the voice introducing the group ? ... it sounds a bit like Tom Jones ? by the voice inflection of the word (show) but I'm probably wrong ...
Anyway, there is a segment of the song in this video ...

They feature in Anatomy of Pop which survives. They use clips of the band in a studio setting. I think at least two different songs are chosen in snippet form. I have no idea what show this is from. I know they appeared on Colour Me Pop but don't know if this is the source. Marmalade appear at around 9:22 in this edition of Anatomy Of Pop featuring Soft Machine; does anyone know what the song is or where the performance comes from? The Soft Machine performance in this video seems to have been filmed in the same studio as the Marmalade one so I'm wondering if this and the Marmalade performance were filmed exclusively for the AOP doc and not extracted from separate pop shows? |
