I've just been watching the Simon Dee programmes on Channel 4. There was a clip used from the LWT 1970 series, which was a revelation to me as I thought it had been wiped. Does anyone know how much survives?

According to the Kal guide, only the opening titles exist, although clearly more than that was seen last night! Can anyone clarify what LWT have? Has there been a recent find?

sticking my neck out here, but there is a good chance most, maybe all of the LWT series survives, i have seen various clips over years in that slightly foggy LWT colour which seems common to their series of that period.

According to a friend who worked on the documentary, not much archive Dee exists other than what was used. There is one partial recording from the LWT series and the BBC series exists largely in the form of clips.

A partial recording from one LWT show seems more likely. i'd guess. Anybody know exactly what / how long the chunk is? It's better than nothing, I suppose.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s appearance on the LWT series apparently survives on Audio (just over 13 minutes). A small JPG can be viewed at the “John Lennon Teleography” (Link pasted below). homepage.ntlworld.com/carousel/pob18.html
