Can anyone help with a list of people who have had Heroes Of Comedy documentaries made about them, possibly with transmission dates?
I have tried to get this info over the net but have had very little luck.
Kindest Regards

I don't have a complete list, or many TX dates, but the following have been featured in the series.
Ronnie Barker Ronnie Corbett Peter Cook Tommy Cooper Les Dawson Dick Emery (tx 06/04/02 possibly) The Goons Tony Hancock Benny Hill Frankie Howerd Hattie Jacques (tx 09/03/02) Sid James Max Miller (tx 27/10/95) Spike Milligan Leonard Rossiter (tx 27/12/01) Terry-Thomas (tx 17/11/95) Max Wall Kenneth Williams Mike Yarwood
I'm not certain, but June Whitfield may also have been part of the series.

My first and last post here. Stupid bloody filters reduce a comic genius to Tony Handthingy!!! Why don't we all go back to the original board, and leave this disaster area?

Can any of the board moderators change some of these censor settings? This doesn't seem to be the kind of board where people use expletives every 10 seconds, so it's not as if the censorship is serving any useful purpose beyond mangling perfectly innocent names... Having said that I much prefer the new board. Just needs a bit of fine-tuning maybe.

Amazing! What is the point? So we cannot discuss a very good play called Who Killed Cock Robin shown in the early seventies, but could - let's see - discuss coprophagia?

Hmm it now seems to have become all liberal all of a sudden, even the original post is now un-censored.
Did someone change a setting?
