Was there a music show in the 80s called Roxy?? I think it was shown on a Tuesday evening.

I think was touted as the ITV answer to Top of the Pops at the time. It was made by Tyne Tees, and ran from 9/6/87 to 8/4/88 - 42 editions (and they all still exist, according to Kaleidoscope in 1997).

Black Irish bloke was Kevin Sharkey.
ISTR throughout it's brief existence, it managed to clock up 3 title sequences/theme tunes, the final one which was done by Stock Aitken Waterman, & if memory serves, through flicking through 12 inch singles at the time, a vocal version was done by Bananarama, under the title 'Anmesia' !
Am I right, anyone ?
