Does anyone have the correct running order for this, the last edition to be wiped by the BBC? There are no details in the TOTP database.

I have raised this recently in another thread (see TOTP Database Issues). All we have so far are recollections of Legs & Co dancing to Jean-Michel Jarre "Oxygene IV" and Neil has mentioned The Adverts "Gary Gilmore's Eyes", either a repeat performance or a different performance.
Does anyone out there have any more info?

More database bugs, I presume. It should be on there. I put in in myself! Is that the edition with Television's only appearance? Can't recall if it is or not - there's another missing one around this time too, I seem to recall...

Laurence, the Television performance of 'Prove It' comes from 4th August 1977 which is another wiped edition from '77 (this also featured performances by Billy Paul and the Jam).
I reckon 8.9.77 may have featured some or all of the following songs:
Magic Fly, Oxygene, Dancin' in the Moonlight, Telephone Man, Looking After Numer One, Gary Gilmore's Eyes, Best Of My Love, Black Betty, Black Is Black, Thunder In My Heart, Another Star, Way Down.
Of course I'm just guessing here, based on what was featured in surrounding editions and what went up/down the following week. It would be nice to have the correct running order confirmed.

After doing a bit of research I have discovered that Black Gorilla definitely appeared on TOTP, so they must have been on the 8/9/77 edition!

Good work Neil, another piece of the puzzle. Also, there's a photo of Gaye Advert on the TOTP2 website, it's not from 25.8.77 as she's wearing a slightly different collar so I guess the performance of 'Gary Gilmore's Eyes' on 8.9.77 was a new one.
Just changing the subject slightly, there's also a photo of Devo in the TOTP studio on the same page as the Adverts one. I'll start a new thread with this as it's a bit of a mystery.
