Pete Seaton very kindly mailed me the full line up of 14/1/71 & 25/2/71. Some tracks were wiped as T.Rex "Ride A White Swan" would be on the January show if it all existed. It would most definatly have been repeated by now. ASM I've double-checked both the P as B and the script for 14/1/71 and Ride A White Swan did not feature at all in this edition. The listing I gave is complete. It was on the credits playout of the previous weeks' show but it was on it's way out of the chart by this time anyway and would not have featured heavily (the next single Hot Love appears very soon after this time). Probably the only reason this edition has not been repated is because of some songs being mute.

Hi folks, I'm working on a biography of Hawkwind at the moment, and was having a look at the TOTYP database for the programme in 1972 that showed the promo clip of Silver Machine. I see that it is listed as having been shown three times during July and August 1972 (and again a couple of times as "disc" which I'm not sure what this means) - none of which survive? The Silver Machine clip does survive - does anybody know why (is this because it was lifted for the Time-Out 0f-Mind Moorcock documentary in 79/80?). Thanks for any info! Ian (ian@abrahamsi.freeserve.co.uk) Just to wrap up this thread from yonks ago :-) The Hawkwind biography has just been published and acknowledges "the contributors to the Missing Episodes discussion board, notably Laurence Piper" in recognition of the help given through this query. Regards Ian
