"Houseparty" was definitely a Southern TV Programme in the `60`s/70`s. All i can remember as a teenager was that it was on about 4.00pm weekdays and it contained about 6 to 8 woman sitting around a table talking about things that would only interest women. One thing i do remember was that one of the regulars came from Hayling Island which was about six miles from where i lived then and is just about as near today.

I'm certain I saw some 16mm footage from the making of a Houseparty on some programme at some time. Definite proof that it was done in a studio! And there's sure to be some editions still existing as they trotted out a few clips from the shows when Meridian revived the show in 1993.

"Out Of Town" was in TV hell - but I certainly enjoyed it.

"Out Of Town" was in TV hell - but I certainly enjoyed it. Out of Town in TV Hell ?? I am truly gobsmacked. I also enjoyed this series which ran from the 60's until Southern TV lost its franchise. Then Channel 4 continued it for a while under the name of Old Country.
