I remember a US archive pop program introduced by casey casen about 12 years ago a two parter on the 60s pt 1 was the UAS pt 2 was the UK I remember seeing a hollies He aint heavy performance it looked like a colour TR, they were all wearing dark(black or blue )suits and were on a quite a large empty stage, would anyone know what show this was and when also the screen shots on the "sets" page of members.lycos.co.uk/totptastic/ shows the hollies is this a missing totp or another show and is the screen shot from an existing performance?

That photo you talk about, I am 95% certain is not TOTP, no matter what the author of that site thinks. It looks like one of the early "Beatclubs" to me. These use a big empty studio with a stage on each side. Round each stage there would be a no-go area (for the cameras to move in), and the audience would dance in the middle. Looking at my list of stuff, that performance is probably either "I Can't Let Go" or "Look Thru Any Window" - I'd have to look at the actual clips to work out which. Hope this helps, Steve

The Casey Casum show you mention was called "Rock and Roll Goldmine" and was indeed superb to see lots of 60's US TV material. I think that the Hollies clip used in the programme was from German or Dutch TV, not British.

That Hollies clip was also featured on 'The Rock and Roll Years' and I believe was 'I Can't Let Go', I think in one shot you see a 'Beat Club' or 'Musik Laden' sign in the background, I'll have to go back and check.
