A couple of days before this place opened, someone on the old board asked a couple of questions about Bruce Lee. Anyhow long story>short, I asked a mate of mine who knows such things the questions and his replies are thus;
I don't remember the series myself but it does exist. The Jackie Chan Fan Club used to sell it i think - but now they're under a different name, sommat like 'asian heroes', or bruce and brandon fan club might be able to help.
And the big boss - yeah. There is a tiny clip of bruce shouting at some woman on one of the old trailers to the film, and this is from the extra 5 minute scene. But no one seems to be able to get a full copy of it nowadays... Not even Father Christmas.
Hope this helps!

This is a long shot, but does anyone remember an American comedy series called Blondie from the late 1960's. It was not a success and was cancelled after just half a season; it was based on the comic strip Blondie. Anyway, the late great Bruce Lee had a cameo role as a karate teacher in an episode called 'Pick On A Bully Your Own Size'. I have located a script of it but have never seen the actual episode. I don't even know if it has been seen outside of the U.S. since it's original broadcast date, January 1969. Any info as to its possible existence and whereabouts would be most welcome.

Secondly, Bruce Lee's first kung-fu film was The Big Boss. The original Chinese version of this film which played in theatres in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia in the early 70's was about five minutes longer than any version of the film which is currently available on the market today. The original 'long' version was shown at a Bruce Lee Film Festival in London in December 1979 but incredibly hasn't been seen since. Apparently it still exists but only in the hands of private collectors who are reluctant to share it with anybody else, which is a great shame. Has anybody seen it?
