I’ve always enjoined War Games. It may be somewhat repetitive but it’s got good production values, a great cast, was directed by David Maloney and has some first rate incidental music by Dudley Simpson. There are some colour production piccies which, iirc, show somewhat psychedelic sets. I’ll look forward to seeing a 90 minute version on 23 December 👍

Wasn't Pertwee cast after Troughton had finished? (or I could be mis-remembering too) So how is there a 'proper' regeneration if none was filmed? Are we looking at deep-fake, or AI? Apparently they're using this short, and frankly wonderful, Youtube video by Jacob Booth. Albeit with some modification* *With thanks to Richard Bignell over on Roobarbs
This is incredible as to how much AI has progressed in recent months. It actually made me dream that after finishing the TARDIS interior scene he was told that that it was satisfactory by a floor assistant and Pertwee ( in classic season 7 costume of Black Cape) walked off the set!Absolutely wonderful.

Thanks for the kind words <3 After The Daleks they just felt like it'd be nice to give Troughton some love too. It doesn't mean DIOE may not be an option in years to come, if they continue doing these. Pleasure, Richard! Also, I must mention the great colorization job on the 'next 60 years' preview trailer at the end of the Daleks. I loved the red and blue Masterplan Daleks - after all, a red Dalek DID appear on the cover of John Peel's The Mutation of Time novel. Maybe yourself and the team could consider giving the Saucer Pilot Dalek in DIOE a red lick of paint, in homage to the inaccurate painting instructions that came with the Sevans model kit - red and silver! Haha, thank you. The team are all amazing artists. The red Dalek was my doing, and it was based on the novelisation cover as I adore that colour scheme. Plus, it was a montage, so I felt we could have a little more fun with it

Really Simon? How was it done in that case? It's superb. Time, effort, editing, and CGI… how it’s normally done. AI certainly wouldn’t be able to just churn that out, or indeed just parts of it, to any level considered high quality. Not even close. In the last year or so I’ve seen increasing number of comments about various things online which are CGI, designed and created intentionally by a human being, but some people seem to just jump to assume it’s AI. It’s CGI, like the good old days…
