Robin Hood looks absolutely amazing in IB as does Wizard of OZ.
Hartley: I think you mean B&W separations, not IB elements -- IB Stands for Imbibition and has to do with the dye transfer process (where the film "imbibes" the dyes) rather than the negatives themselves. You can use separtions to print non-IB prints too (and also combine them digitally as well). But you are probably right that it would cost more money than simply transferring a color negative...
Kodachrome prints are very nice; no fading -- but often tend to be grainy.
