There's already a lot of very poor Doctor Who out there and most of it is cringe inducingly bad. If AI was really that clever it'd tell the user, "this looks stinky plops, son. and nobody's gonna like it" I actually said 'sh1t' and some software changed it to a PC version!

Yes, the forum has a swear filter. I’d be in favour of removing it, don’t know about anyone else..?

Speak for yourself, John! 🤣 “You are only young once, but you can be immature forever.” (Germaine Greer)

After watching John Lydon live last night at Aber Arts Centre I’m feeling inspired! 😉. Mind you, I could be wrong, I could be right…..

Given how Ian Levine's are turning out from the one I saw, I think its better to wait. No disservice to those who like em, but they look like Loose Cannon recons with 5% more lip movement and, with the deepest respect, I saw better lip synching in episodes of Captain Scarlet. I wonder if this recent tweet from Ian might begin to change minds? x.com/IanLevine/status/1800569258335994158The head movement is a little odd at times, presumably caused by running the original footage forwards and backwards, but it's a marked improvement over previous efforts I've seen from Ian's teams. It takes time to develop effective techniques, but they inevitably improve over time and with new technological advancements. Attempting whole episodes is still overly ambitious in my opinion, but focusing on individual shots that can be created convincingly will open up more opportunities over time. It's an iterative process.

My view is that we’re after realistic figures that move against a pre-prepared background and lip sync with the existing audio.

That is a vast improvement from what I last saw of Ians efforts. It's still got some ways to go but it's nice seeing a marked noticeable improvement each time and I do think it will definitely get there and as it gets cloaer it will snow ball. However the thing that let's Ian down is both his inability to acknowledge criticism even when it's constructive and his insistence of rubbishing other efforts. Does him now favours on a personal nor professional level

It’s easy to get protective about something. Constructive criticism can be useful.

Part of his strength is he pushes for success. Part of weakness he pushes others.
Besides finding episodes, I wonder if he was encouragement to the lc team, his other projects, and now ai.
But the irony is he pushes for innovation in Dr who often at his own expense. Contrastingly, Some of his distractors are financially benefiting from dr who and haven't shown any generousity or sharing, although showing much better social skills.
Hence I refuse to throw stones here to anyone.
