Brilliant researcher Rhys Williams has managed to identify the hippo footage from Wheel 1.

Therefore you can now watch a few seconds of this previously entirely missing episode!

Its a few seconds of stock footage that included a hippo projected on the tardis scanner.

Nice to have it matched up for reconstruction.

In a follow up tweet Rhys posted a correction. Apparently the footage is from the second episode of the Attenborough series titled "The Ancient Highway".


He also speculates that the other shots seen on the TARDIS monitor may have been taken from the same episode or series.
