Why is no one talking about this great find, Billy Fury performing "Phone Box" on Dee Time. Obviously survives as an insert on what looks like a European TV show. Does anyone one have any more info. So now we know that clips from Dee Time were sold overseas. youtu.be/9HJDW8GKNZo

That's great!
What does "lookin' for a phone box" mean?

That's great! What does "lookin' for a phone box" mean? Maybe it's just me, but I took it to mean he was looking for a phone box, they didn't have mobiles back then! It's a great song though, interesting to hear how he'd moved with the times. Hopefully it exists in 4:3 somewhere without the awful cropping to widescreen that's in the youtube upload. That kind of thing is never good, but seems to be even worse on this clip than usual, maybe it's down to how the original was framed.

Held by INA in France. Found by Gary Jordan in there and hopefully being shown in hi-res at a Kaleidoscope event.

This has been around for a few years, I thought it was (relatively) common knowledge. The same programme has clips of Sandie Shaw iirc. I passed the audio onto Top Sounds who included it on their superb Three Saturdays With Billy release which you all should have bought (!) - fully authorised by Billy's estate. The video was shown at a UK Fury gathering a few years back. The Fury clip originates from the 28th September 1968 Dee Time. There's a lot of good stuff at INA including some wonderful footage of Peter Green and Danny Kirwan rehearsing together.

I JUST bought that Top Sounds release a couple of days ago as it was the first time in recent memory that a seller had a copy in the US. Very strange timing. The packaging says nothing about the video existing and states that the track in question was audio FROM a TV show not from a surviving clip which is sort of important info. Great to see in any form!
