We all know the great story of “The BBC prepared a reconstruction of Tomb with linking narration by Jon Pertwee then just before being released the whole story was found in Hong Kong and was released in full”.
My question is, whatever became of Jon’s narration? Was it ever released in any other form? It’d be interesting to listen to it simply because he’s not going to be in anything new (or anything else from the last 25 years) so anything he recorded would be a gem to have.
Does anyone have a copy of his narration?

The audio was commercially released in 1993 on compact cassette.

Indeed it was, released in June 1993. The tape was supposed to have been released the previous year with the other missing episodes cassettes, but was delayed to give maximum publicity to the release of the video of the newly recovered story. From memory, for some reason, there was a slight speed up done on Pertwee's narration (can't recall if this affected the whole tape), so it all sounded a bit odd.

Wow! I’d wondered about this for years but never saw that before. I guess my researching skills aren’t up to scratch. Thanks for the response.

I heard the Pertwee narrated Tomb audio had to be released as a contractual obligation, at least some existing stories were later released in a sound only format since them.
