Although I know a fair bit about ML and AI in general, I'm not an expert in this particular field, however the way I would imagine you would use AI in this instance would be to find a tool which will take in both the dirty and the cleaned images, associated with each other, obviously, so that it learns what the cleaning process does, and then feed it in a new dirty image to see what it comes up with.
Or, give it some footage that exists on FR and VT for it to compare, both in terms of intra- and inter-frame.
Does the BFI hold The Keys of Marinus? If so, does that mean they're complete as they were made on first transmission?

Has there been any information about this that I've missed?
I can understand a reluctance to answer whether or not they're complete, as even admitting the negs had been checked would immediately convince some people that Season One would be on blu-ray imminently, but do we know if they even exist to be checked?
