Groovy! And Troughton's face is looking really good (& this is in an actual clip) - hopefully other animation teams will note this & will make the same effort with this important aspect.
The use of what seems to be a photo for the Buddhist statue is a lovely mixed media touch. I thought the visual style of the mountain & its environs are really nice. From the brief glimpse of Victoria's face it's probably not as successful as the Doctor's - but you can't win them all! In this clip the walking motion of the characters is done very well & fairly naturalistically & a huge improvement on this aspect in some previous animations - so that's great to see.
One of my favourite stories & overall a lot better than Web as a story imo. I think Wolfe Morris' voice as Padmasambhava/the Great Intelligence is the best human-type voice in all of Who - chilling as the G.I. & eerie as Padmasambhava (or is that sometimes the G.I. imitating him maybe).
I hear the yetis can be hard to do animated eg. in the excellent recent LC recon of Web3 for the BBC; they're quite reasonable but not outstanding unlike LC daleks/Wheel servo robot & cybermen. Maybe in this new Snowmen release, ie. in the new animated episodes; they will be drawn not based on CGI?
Even if the yetis themselves don't happen to be 100% brilliant in this release, I'm half expecting that & am really looking forward to these animated episodes as a whole. I expect that in general it will be fantastic.
Also I very much hope that, as with Evil, the surviving episode 2 - one of my very favourite Who episodes - will get a new thorough & complete visual remastering - even though it actually mainly looked very good on the old LIT set. The sound will be remastered for the obvious reason that episode 2 will be presented animated alongside the other 5 eps.

It’s an obvious story to animate and I have a recollection of some amateur footage taken during location filming. Of course it means that Wheel is the only incomplete Season Five story - and part of Episode One has been done 👍
Anybody wanna head to the betting shop to put a few credits on Season Five being the first b&w BluRay box set? There’s an extremely remote possibility of MEs turning up but WoF3 is out there somewhere - a box set with WoF complete would be 👍

Well I for one am more than happy for another animation. I know that a lot of Who fans will not engage with the animations, and that’s fine by me, as it’s their personal choice. But I will take them over not having anything complete to watch.

But I will take them over not having anything complete to watch. Agreed - I’m really pleased every time there is an announcement on the animations. The posts on Twitter from a lot of the people involved, along with the documentaries on the disks themselves shows how much effort goes into these. A very hard goal on limited budget - animation is usually an exaggeration whereas these have to be as close to the originals as possible. To think after this release that we will be just 1 story short in 4 of the 6 black & white seasons is amazing.

I like the animations which I have seen and does anyone feel this could be broadcast at a later date?

I like the animations which I have seen and does anyone feel this could be broadcast at a later date? Now that is a good point. As far as I’m aware, I don’t recall any of the animations been shown by the BBC or any other broadcaster.

It looks pretty good. The arms look better than in Fury From the Deep; but the eye colours of the main characters are still wrong and the panel is on the wrong side of the TARDIS for series 5.

. . . the panel is on the wrong side of the TARDIS for series 5. By the evidence of John Cura's telesnaps, the panel is on the correct side; the right.
