Flying into the new airport in Hong Kong is defiantly a much safer approach than flying into the old one. I never flew into the old one but have seen pictures of the planes flying over Kowloon to land. You can tell that place was built before the big long haul planes were built. The new airport is much nicer and modern. Yes, I heard that aircraft descending into the old airport risked snagging their undercarriage on washing lines.......... Returning to the 'exam question', from the above discussion it seems that although the trail ends at Singapore for many episodes (e.g. Evil), some were moved on (e.g. Tomb and War Machines). Unfortunately, it seems that the only way of knowing which episodes were moved on from the 'black hole' of Singapore is to find them elsewhere. Perhaps PM has more of an idea about what happened to them, if so I dare say we'll find out eventually. Singapore is very easy to get to nowadays - you can get prices for flights and hotels online. If PM or someone hasn’t been I’d be surprised. However, Singapore is a small and densely populated island and I’d suspect that TV stations have moved locations at least once over the years - the transition to colour is an obvious reason. I’d be extremely surprised if there were cans of 16mm b&w film rattling around in Singapore.

Well there is only so many places they could have gone, so it should not be that hard. . .

Two copies of The Tenth Planet ep 2 exist - the BBC had one (along with 1 and 3), and another is held by a private collector.
There were likely only two copies ever struck for broadcast purposes - one went to Australia, the other to NZ.
The NZ copy went to Singapore in 1972.
We know Australia returned their copy in 1975.
Per my earlier post above I really do think that the RTV/RTS films went back to the UK soon after they had been broadcast by both stations.
The fact that TWO copies of ep 2 exist in the UK supports this.
The existing prints of TTP are either the returned ABC set, or the returned NZ/RTS set. OR The existing 'spare' of TTP 2 is the returned ABC copy, or the returned NZ/RTS one.
And if RTS returned the prints of TTP to the UK, there's a good chance they returned ALL the others they had as well.

I think that one is a dupe print that Ian Levine purchased from the BBC, struck from the archive original.

The other print of TTP 2 was held by the same chap from whom Ian acquired The Time Meddler 1,3 and Invasion of the Dinosaurs 1 (and a handful of other orphans). Ian sold it to another collector.

You would have thought that there would have only one copy of "The Tenth Planet" struck at all considering the situation with "The Power of the Daleks" so that the original print could have been used for Australia, New Zealand, Sand Singapore.
And as Singapore continued to air Dr. Who up threw to "The Planet of the Daleks" its safe to assume they returned all the other prints as well.
