Quite a glittering handful of beautifully staged performances he has uploaded, all from the Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour in 1971.

The thing I find fascinating about this group, is that the girl in the orange midriff outfit is a TOTAL doppleganger for Nancy Sinatra... and there is also a doppleganger for Mike Brant in that group, too. I'm sure you can spot him.

You're right about the Nancy Sinatra look-alike!! Interesting use of the word "live" mind - live only in so much as they are living and not dead, mimed and Edited as the performances are...

Funnily enough David I also stumbled across those same clips just the other night. I must admit I've never heard of The Mike Curb Congregation, but I love 'Burning Bridges' both for the catchy tune and the great staging! They seem to have had a leaning to Godspell-era religious pop songs very much like The Les Humphries Singers who were also a large vocal group:
Interesting to note the Mike Curb Congregation also performed 'Softly Whispering I Love You' which was a UK hit for the, er, Congregation...
Lead singer on the above is Brian Keith, formerly of Plastic Penny I believe.

I must admit I've never heard of The Mike Curb Congregation, but I love 'Burning Bridges' both for the catchy tune and the great staging! "Burning Bridges" was big hit here in the US, it was the theme song from the movie "Kelly's Heroes". Then the next year, Richard Nixon hired them to write and record a campaign theme for him. Quite a change from today, when politicians just use any song they want, and then the artist has to sue them because they didn't ask permission. But for a campaign song, it was one HELL of a toe-tapper.
